Well...guess who isn't getting an xbox one? This guy. At least I have my emulators. I will always have my emulators!

For me it depends how hackable it is. I won't touch it till its mod-able and I can turn off all those lame factor features. But I mostly have a love hate relationship with consoles because I feel consoles are what are holding pc hardware development as well as pc gaming development back.

I used to be a console gamer. Then I got a real computer and I realized how much better PCs are at just about everything. You can even get a usb controller so it feels like a console.

I have a godly pc, a wii, a ps3 and a 360.

The Wii is getting handed down to my niece and nephew cause I never use it.

I have I guess a 2nd gen 360 with no hdmi port but the graphics look good with a vga cable hooked up to a PC monitor.

The ps3 is probably my favorite out of the 3 system manly because I can do more with it with the hacked firmware that I'm using.

Also if I play a steam game on my pc that is better with a controller the ps3 and 360 controllers hook up to your pc and work without issue on windows 7.

This may help their sales a bit but I think a lot of damage has been done.

I personally have a huge library of pc games, xbox/360, ds,3ds, and even some wii games to play through.

I doubt I'll finish them all by this fall, plus the launch line up of both systems don't have me drooling over anything so like my usually consumerism I will probably wait about a year or more before I even consider buying a next gen console.

Plus you have to consider that since they can easily turn this drm code off, they could just as easily turn it back on after they meet a certain sales quota.

also my stance against getting an xboxone has more to do with the always on line check ins and the always on kinect. For a console all I really want is a great gaming machine that can supplement my primary media entertainment/gaming device.... the PC. I don't want a console that uses voice commands and hand gestures to watch tv or play games. I talk to myself too much already I don't wanna talk to a console. I buy all my games new so the used game market has really never been a factor for me. The last time I bought something from gamestop was a 3ds console and nothing since.

I never resell my old games however I have young nephews that I tend to hand down my old system and games to when I'm done with them.
