Default Gaming mouse

So my current $15 Gigabyte mouse has developed the rather annoying problem of sometimes double clicking on its own whenever I press the mouse button, which can be quite infuriating in games.

With the amount of money I have spent on cheap ones that always wind up breaking, I figured this time around I will get myself a better one that will last. So my question is, which gaming mice do you guys use and which ones would you recommend?

I have a Logitech G9 Gaming Mouse that I have been using for over two years. I have had my G19 keyboard for the same amount of time, actually. Both are rigorous, but precise, and I have never had issues. The G19 serves as macro keys when I need them.

There is the Naga mouse, but I do not like its cluster of buttons. Razer quality is not up to Logitech, anyway.

If you like spending money.

Amazon.com: Razer Naga 2012 Expert MMO Gaming Mouse (RZ01-00580100-R3U1): ElectronicsAmazon.com: Razer Naga 2012 Expert MMO Gaming Mouse (RZ01-00580100-R3U1): Electronics

I use the Epic wireless version but I think the 2012 is the exact same model just wired and cheaper. I've had it since Dec 2011 right before swtor launched and I like it for all my gaming needs. Those side buttons pretty much map to "1-=" and or the numpad.

funny you should ask as i just ordered this from amazon

Amazon.com: Razer RZ01-00750100-R3U1 Naga Hex - Laser Gaming Mouse: ElectronicsAmazon.com: Razer RZ01-00750100-R3U1 Naga Hex - Laser Gaming Mouse: Electronics

I plan on putting all my pet commands , plus maybe dodge , and lightning reflexes (ranger super dodge) on my mouse , everything else will be left hand keyboard buttons as usual.

I also have the one dag linked but it has too many small thumb buttons , i could never get used to them .

Clearly, i have to much disposable income

K well I ended my razer boycott with the naga, and while the naga worked for me, it was a great mouse for mmo gaming. Now it's developed a problem where when I'm holding down the right mouse button in guild wars 2 to swing the camera around it doesn't hold.

The guildwars 2 cursor appears and disappears while I'm holding the right mouse button down indicating that it's no longer being pressed when in fact I am still holding it down.

Researching the problem this looks like it's another one of razer's faulty build mechanics. It's time for me again to shop around for a new mouse and, renew my razer boycott :P. The naga did work pretty well for me for about 10 months minus the double click back button issues which only bothered me while surfing the web.

Anyhow go to hell razer ban back on!!!!

I have that same naga. None of those problems though. With all the targeted attacks in GW2 this mouse seems perfect. Point and hit the keys on the mouse. This is my first razer product and I've had no issues so far.

Yeah like I said it was a great mouse when it was working just google naga right mouse or double click issues to see the problem is wide spread. I really wanted to like this mouse and I did for a time. But like other razer products I've spent a ridiculous amount of money on in the past their products just don't hold up in the long run. Be glad your mouse is still working.

But if it starts crapping out the fixes for it are pretty much a temporary bandaid that will soon stop working.

I wound up getting the Logitech g400 and I'm pretty happy with it so far. Doesn't have all the buttons that some others do, but all I really needed was two side buttons and the ability to change DPI on the fly, all of which the g400 has.

If you want to be a real pro you gotta get the microsoft mini mouse. It has a left button, a right button, AND a wheel. How could you possibly ask for more?...Sometimes I feel like I need to turn in my gamer card
